The Flint Hills Festival of Wines has been an annual event hosted by the Good Shepherd Foundation for the past 20 years. No one could have anticipated all of the changes we would be faced with in our world and in our community in 2020, but despite all the unknowns, one thing is for certain Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice remains the trusted source for compassionate care, with a team of dedicated professionals working each day to ensure that our hospice, palliative home health and home care services are provided to all in need.
Our Virtual Festival of Wines events will raise the funds needed to ensure our proud tradition of providing those services regardless of ability to pay.
Guests at our Virtual Wine Tasting & Live Auction, held on Friday, August 28th at 6:30 p.m. will virtually join our live-stream event, featuring a vineyard representative to discuss various wine selections, sponsored by Standard Beverage Corporation. Guests will receive an event basket prior to the event with all of the details and supplies needed to participate in a safe and fun way! The live-stream will also include our spirited Live Auction led by Lori Rogge with Gene Francis & Associates and will feature some truly one-of-a-kind items. Guests will also receive access to our Silent Auction event, open for browsing and bidding throughout the week.
Guests at our Virtual Grab Bag & Silent Auction, held from Sunday, August 23rd through Friday, August 28th will test their luck at our traditional Grab Bag drawing! Each entry will receive a prize, ranging from wine to tickets to our spring event, the Promenade on Poyntz as well as access to browsing and bidding at our Silent Auction featuring a wide range of items from various MHK businesses and restaurants.
No matter which event you choose, your gift of time and treasure will be touching the lives of others through the work of Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice.
